New Year’s Eve at the Center
As Winterfest winds down, come out to celebrate its final event on New Year’s Eve at Seattle Center. The event will offer entertainment and festivities across the grounds. Pop by the Armory between 8 p.m. and midnight and hear the soulful sounds of Groove Nation. Come 10 p.m., head out to the International Fountain for a Fountain of Light show featuring DJ Supreme La Rock. Just before midnight, grab a spot outside to enjoy the Space Needle’s drone and pyrotechnic extravaganza: T-Mobile New Year’s at the Needle. (The 16-minute show begins seven minutes before midnight.)
