To kick off Washington Wine Month, Tinte Cellars hosts a Diaper Drive throughout March. Donations are accepted at all Tinte Cellars locations throughout the state and will benefit Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest community health centers.

AAA Washington’s Soap for Hope Toiletry Drive
Now through Dec. 30, AAA Washington hosts its annual Soap for Hope toiletry drive for locals facing hygiene poverty. With that, AAA Washington members, shoppers and staff can bring unused hygiene products to any of its 15 locations across Washington State.

When it was founded in 1974, YouthCare was one of the first shelters for runaway and homeless youth on the West Coast. Today, it has 16 program locations in Seattle and King County, serving 1,500 young people each year.

In early October, St. Francis House reopened in a welcoming new building in Seattle better designed to meet its mission, which is to provide 13,000 vulnerable people each year with a sense of community, help them with their basic needs and serve them with respect.

Cliff Has Your Back Program
Just in time for the new school year, Bellevue-based Ascend Hospitality Group partnered with former Seahawk and Super Bowl champion Cliff Avril and the Cliff Avril Family Foundation to launch the Cliff Has Your Back program. This collab provides underprivileged children with a custom-designed backpack, filled with supplies.
Auction of Washington Wines Event Series
Auction of Washington Wines (AWW), a Seattle-based nonprofit that advances awareness of the Washington wine industry, has announced its 2021 event series, featuring both virtual and intimate in-person opportunities. In addition to championing the Washington wine industry, the series will also support Seattle Children’s and the WSU Viticulture and Enology program.
