Order the classic Nonna Maria, a traditional pie made with an olive oil-poached red sauce and topped with aged whole-milk mozzarella. Or take your taste buds on an adventure with the spiced fig, prosciutto and arugula pizza, cooked to perfection with grande whole-milk mozzarella, whipped chevre and almond pesto. The key to these mouthwatering pies is in the 65-year-old multi-generation family sourdough starter, brought to Von’s by Executive Chef Jason Amador who comes from a family of bakers.
