Rock Creek Seafood & Spirits to Open Location in Kirkland

Seafood enthusiasts have something to look forward to this December. Restaurateur and Executive Chef Eric Donnelly announces a second location of Rock Creek Seafood & Spirits opening in the heart of Kirkland.

With its award-winning restaurant and bar in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood, Rock Creek Seafood & Spirits has earned a stellar reputation among locals and visitors. The menu focuses on globally sourced seafood from sustainable fisheries offering an array of choices. Locals savor everything from local Northwest favorites like crab, oysters and mussels to more exotic finds such as Kona Kampachi and Hawaiian Ono. Each dish is crafted to perfection, highlighting the natural flavors of the freshest ingredients from around the world.

The upcoming Kirkland location aims to further the culinary experience by presenting an expanded food program, including popular dishes from the Fremont location alongside new dishes, including a chilled shellfish platter.

“We’re excited to be opening our first eastside restaurant bringing Rock Creek to the Kirkland community,” says Chef Eric Donnelly, in a press release. “The larger space will allow us to expand the menu and offer lunch daily.”

Floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The restaurant will be open throughout the day, serving lunch, happy hour, dinner and weekend brunches. For those seeking a more intimate setting, a private dining area with a bar accommodating up to 45 guests will also be available.

Rock Creek Seafood & Spirits has an extensive bar program featuring hand-crafted cocktails that highlight locally distilled spirits. The bar menu will also include a variety of local beers on tap and an impressive wine selection that complements the food program. Guests can expect to find familiar favorites from the Fremont menu, like the Sparkle Dun (a blend of Tanqueray London Dry Gin, Giffard Apricot, thyme, lemon and an Absinthe rinse) as well as the Sneaky Spinner (a mix of Suntory Toki whiskey, Giffard Passionfruit, St. Germaine, yuzu, salted honey and grapefruit bitters).
