Three new additions to Chophouse Row in Capitol Hill debuted this past January, including a charming Vietnamese restaurant, a vibrant dance studio and a new music series at a local café.
Located in the heart of Seattle’s bustling Capitol Hill neighborhood, Chophouse Row has welcomed three new additions to its ever-growing lineup of entertainment and dining destinations.
The first to open, PopRox Dance, offers dance enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to join a diverse community and have fun while learning a variety of dance styles, including hip-hop, jazz, funk and K-pop. The studio primarily focuses on classes for adults, with plans to offer bar services in the future. In addition to dance lessons, PopRox Dance has also launched a brand-new retail concept, offering size-inclusive dance and athletic-themed clothing and merchandise. The dance studio is located in Chophouse Row’s courtyard and is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Following the debut of PopRox Dance, Xóm ăn nhậu, a k a XÓM, is a charming Vietnamese restaurant that has already developed a cult following. The dining destination offers street-style classics with a modern twist, offering diners a sensory exploration of Vietnam’s finest. XÓM focuses on embracing its traditions, roots and community with every plate, with “Xóm,” meaning a tight-knit neighborhood where people gather to eat and connect. Some menu highlights include traditional pho, Han mi selections, XÓM chicken wings and more. The Chophouse Row restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday, from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 9 p.m.
Plus, Chophouse Row’s Good Weather Bicycle & Café kicked off the new year with an exciting new music series taking place every third Tuesday of each month. The evening features unstreamable tunes from vinyl records, including selections of jazz, funk and other obscurities. The next musical evening is slated for Feb. 15, with handcrafted sips from The Two Jasons and an overall great time.
