With its powdery hilltops and glacier-fed waters, Lake Chelan brings the highly anticipated Winterfest to locals and visitors Jan. 12 to Jan. 21. The annual event features ice sculptures, spectacular fireworks shows, the infamous ice bar, live music, a snow slide and much more wintery excitement for all ages.
This year’s Lake Chelan Winterfest festivities are slated to take place across Chelan and Manson. Standout events include:
Manson Bubble Brunch (Jan. 13, Lake Chelan Visitor Center) – The Bubble Brunch is a showcase of bubbles produced in the Lake Chelan Valley. Enjoy bubbles, a catered brunch and learn about the sparkling wine produced here in Lake Chelan. Tickets are $75.
Winterfest Wine Walk (Jan. 13) – Shop and sip as you stroll through Downtown Chelan, enjoying the region’s newest wineries along with familiar favorites in the Winterfest Wine Walk. Tickets are $50.
Chelan Bubble Brunch (Jan. 14, Lake Chelan Visitors Center) – The Bubble Brunch is a showcase of bubbles produced in the Lake Chelan Valley. Enjoy bubbles, a catered brunch and learn about the sparkling wine produced here in Lake Chelan. Tickets are $75.
Ice Bar – Ice Bar is Lake Chelan Winterfest’s premier entertainment venue featuring live music, special tastings and more. Tickets start at $40.
Family-friendly attractions include the Sunday Kid’s Zone, found next to the snow slide on Emerson Street, and taking place Jan. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; a Cocoa Crawl; a Teen Center at Thrive Chelan Valley for middle and high schoolers (enjoy movies, games and billiards from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 13); face painting; character photo ops; and much more.
