Those looking to tee up in luxury in Washington are in luck, as Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club in Blaine has unveiled some major capital improvements. Plus, the club is offering a public play special for community members for a limited time.
In 2019, Semiahmoo invested over $3.8 million in into its golf and country club facilities to elevate the overall guest and player experience. Improvements include a fleet of Club Car golf carts; new roofs for the clubhouse and maintenance buildings; equipment and sand to upgrade golf course drainage; a new state-of-the-art irrigation system; and new golf maintenance equipment, including mowers, rollers and utility vehicles.
“The capital improvements to the facilities are significant and allow us to provide a first-in-class course, surrounded by the beauty of the Northwest, as well as enhanced health and cleaning guidelines to ensure that we do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” says Director of Golf Jeff Mehlert.
Both golf club members and guests have the chance to enjoy the new enhanced facilities and a limited-time public play option. For a limited time, Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club is offering a special for community members to check out the premier private golf course for $125 per day in May, including green fee and range access. This offer will continue until the Canadian border reopens, at which time the golf course will return to member-only access.
