While some things change, a lot of things don’t. And this year, you can still get into the holiday spirit with a handful of different events that are set to take place all throughout the state. Here are some of Washington’s best holiday attractions to enjoy this season.
Downtown
Downtown Holiday Lights & Delights
From Nov. 27 through Jan. 9, see more than 80,000 lights on installations of presents, arches and trees at Westlake Park. There will also be holiday “augmented reality” surprises in designated spots throughout parks, sidewalks and plazas in Downtown Seattle. Eastside
Snowflake Lane
Beginning in Bellevue on Nov. 27 and running through Dec. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m., families can enjoy Snowflake Lane—a holiday event featuring lights, holiday music and a faux snow shower. For more information, visit snowflakelane.com.
North
The Lights of Christmas
The Lights of Christmas drive-thru display at Stanwood will take place Nov. 27-29, and on varying dates through December beginning on the 2nd. For more information, visit thelightsofchristmas.com.
South
Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park
Located in Spanaway, this drive-through display will take place from Nov. 21 through Jan. 3 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The lightshow experience is the perfect way to enjoy the spirit of the holidays in a COVID-friendly capacity. For more information, visit co.pierce.wa.us.
Zoolights at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
This Tacoma event will take place from Nov. 27 through Jan. 3 and will feature stunning light displays all throughout the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Beyond gorgeous holiday light shows, families can also enjoy a number of other family-friendly activities. For more information, visit pdza.org.
Holiday Magic Drive-Thru in Puyallup

Seattle
Campus Luminata at Seattle Center
The Seattle Center in Queen Anne has lit the trees on its campus that are set to remain lit through the new year. For more information on this free event, visit seattlecenter.com.
WildLanterns at Woodland Park Zoo
In Phinney Ridge from Nov. 13 through Jan. 17 from 4 to 8:30 p.m., the Woodland Park Zoo will host “Wild Lanterns” which is a light display event that’s themed for the season and perfect for COVID-friendly, holiday fun. For more information, visit zoo.org.
