On Friday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m., enjoy an exceptional evening of food, wine and conversation with Washington’s own El Gaucho as well as renowned Duckhorn Vineyards via Zoom. The event features four courses and three bottles of wine to sip and savor.
Duckhorn Vineyards winemaker Renee Ary, education director Kay Malaske and Aerlume managing executive chef Maggie Trujillo come together for a unique and memorable virtual wine dinner on Dec. 18. They will share their perspectives on winemaking, cuisine and how coming together to celebrate with a special meal matters, especially now.
To take part in the dinner, it is $250 for two, plus tax. The price includes three bottles of wine (750ml) and a four-course feast:
- Course One: Oil-Cured Gravlax, Smoked Roe, Radish, Tarragon Crème Fraiche, Citrus-Pickled Mustard paired with 2019 Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc
- Course Two: Pate de Campagne, Candied Olives, Pistachios, Cranberry Preserves paired with 2017 Duckhorn Merlot
- Entrée: Grilled CAB Filet Mignon, Whatcom Blue Cheese Potato Gratin, Braised Carrots, Bordelaise Butter paired with 2017 Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon
- Dessert: Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Pot de Crème, White Chocolate Potato Chip Bark, Hazelnut Madeleines
