Princess and Bear Wines: Inaugural Root-to-Sip Wine Events

Princess and Bear Wines in Seattle is launching its inaugural Root-to-Sip Wine Series with three themed, celebratory events. The first event will take place on March 23 in honor of Women’s History Month.

Located in the South Park neighborhood, the Princess and Bear tasting room is next to the new and beloved, Lady Jaye. Princess and Bear is the only venue in the U.S. that specializes in French wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Known for their affordability and beautiful flavor profiles, these handpicked wines are primarily sourced from small, family-run and predominantly female-owned wineries.

Upcoming Root-to-Sip wine event details:

March 23: Women in Wine History (inaugural event)

  • 1 to 5 p.m. for tastings, with live music from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Featuring a curated selection of wines from the Languedoc-Roussillon region, crafted by acclaimed women winemakers. 
  • The evening will also offer gourmet delights from Charcuterie by Annalise.

April 20: Celebrating Earth Day

  • 1 to 5 p.m. for tastings, with live music from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Celebrating Earth Day with a focus on sustainable and eco-friendly winemaking. All wines featured will be from organically farmed or biodynamic vineyards. Food details pending.

June 8: PRIDE PRIDE, Baby!

  • 1 to 5 p.m. for tastings, with live music from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • A rosé-themed afternoon in honor of Pride Month, showcasing a diverse selection of rosé wines, embodying the spirit of diversity and love. Food details pending.

Tickets are $45 to each Princess and Bear Wines Root-to-Sip event and include eight tasting tickets, food, music and fun.
