Dué Cucina Opens West Seattle Location

Dué Cucina, a Washington-based fine-casual restaurant chain, opened the doors of it new West Seattle locale in March. The fresh outpost marks the fourth for the Italian eatery.

Dué Cucina, from co-founders Davide Macchi and Filippo Fiori, dishes up a tasty lineup of made-from-scratch Italian favorites. The West Seattle location joins the restaurant’s other popular spots in Capitol Hill, Roosevelt and Totem Lake. The duo opened the first Dué Cucina in 2017. “Customers would come all the way from West Seattle to our Capitol Hill store for our pasta, even when the bridge was down! So when we realized we wanted to expand again, West Seattle was at the very top of our list,” Macchi says, in a press release.

Macchi and Fiori are native to the Tuscan countryside, boasting advanced degrees and honing their culinary skills while traveling the world before settling in Washington. “We felt as though there simply wasn’t an informal, authentic, non-pizza Italian option available for families…” says Fiori, in a press release, “and there isn’t anyone more authentically Italian than us!”

Dué Cucina takes a mere two minutes to cook its delicious signature pasta and is heralded for dishing up genuine Italian fare at an affordable price point and its dedication for freshness. Plus, Executive Chef Fiori continuously refines the in-house recipes, ensuring that the rotating pasta shapes and sauces at Dué are always exciting to returning guests. In addition to classic Italian favorites like cacio e pepe, carbonara and aglio e olio, the menu spotlights Chef’s take on dishes like eggplant parmigiana or lasagna alla Bolognese. Dué Cucina also offers 10-oz. boxes of its fresh (low-gluten, high-protein) pasta for customers to prepare at home.

The new West Seattle location of Dué Cucina is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, visit duecucina.com.
