Hometown: Memphis
First job: Sandwich artist at Subway but musically I was signed to Hendrix Records singing and touring in a gospel group called Soul. I was kicked out for writing R&B music and immediately hired to sing with Hit Explosion where I spent three years as a disco queen!
Favorite ways to spend your free time in WA: I’m family-oriented and an active auntie so I spend lots of time with family. I also enjoy movies, bowling, trying new things and road trips.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: A biggest accomplishment, I’m not sure. I’m proud of all of them including being chosen to join the cast of Teatro ZinZanni. My hope is there’s so much more to come and that I can be an inspiration to others to keep dreaming and creating their lives.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: The illusion of obstacles.
Someone who inspires you and why: My sister. I still want to be her when I grow up.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Your talent has no expiration date.
