Thompson Seattle Collaboration Dinner

Thompson Seattle kicks off a series of collaboration dinners starting Thursday, March 3, with Chef Jenessa Sneva of Taurus Ox and Chef Kaleena Bliss of Conversation. The chefs will team up to host an intimate evening of food and drink highlighting Sneva’s traditional Lao dishes with modern presentations.

The dinner starts at 6 p.m., and the cost is $75 plus tip and tax. Passed bubbles and apps upon arrival.

Six-course menu to follow:
Salad course:
Soop Pak: Yu choy, lion’s mane, wood ear, and beech mushrooms, sesame, ginger, dill, cilantro
Chicken Laap: Shredded chicken and fresh herbs, makrut lime leaf, toasted rice powder, fish sauce, chili, lettuce wrap
Curry: Yellow Coconut Curry, shrimp, bamboo, crown daisy greens, kabocha squash, straw mushroom, lime, basil, crispy taro root, Sticky rice, Jaew dipping sauces
Main: Thom Khem, caramelized pork belly braised with warming spices, ginger, garlic, and galangal, tamari cured soft egg, scallion, pickled fresno chilis, pork rinds
Dessert: Mango sticky rice, coconut rice pudding, macerated mango, mint, puffed black wild rice
Apple ricotta doughnuts, spiced crème anglaise, pistachio, cinnamon and sugar
