Seattle Tulip Festival

Join Show Me Seattle Tours for a grand adventure into the Tulip Festival at Washington State University Discovery Garden on Saturday, March 26 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Your adventure begins when you step aboard one of our climate-controlled luxury coaches and head up to Mt. Vernon. Upon arrival at the Washington State University Discovery Garden, your navigator and Master Gardener guide will meet you with refreshments and share an exclusive insider look at the WSU Discovery garden.

Hop back on the coach as your expert horticulture guides take you touring around the local fields, sharing the region’s fascinating geology and tulip production history. Next a stop at the famed Kiwanis Club Salmon BBQ, where you can taste the local flavor of alderwood grilled local salmon for an additional purchase. After lunch it’s off to RoozenGaarde, owned by the Roozen family – bulb growers in Holland and the United States since the early 1700s. Round out the day with a tour of Tulip Town, for more photo ops and a charming tractor/trolley ride (additional purchase required) for up-close viewing.
