27th Annual Daffodil Day

Pike Place Market announces the 27th Annual Daffodil Day, a cherished tradition celebrating Washington farmers and the vibrant spirit of spring, on March 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On this day, visitors can revel in the beauty of spring as they collect a free bundle of daffodils, locally grown by Market farmers. This event not only marks the arrival of spring but also serves as a tribute to the hardworking farmers who contribute to Washington’s rich agricultural tapestry. This year’s daffodils are provided by:

Blong’s Garden
Lor Garden
Nguyen’s Family Farm
Shong Chao’s Farm

Participants will have the opportunity to capture the magic of the day with a complimentary commemorative photo. This event is a great opportunity to enjoy a lunchtime venture to the Market and dine at any of the Market’s eateries or grab a bite on the go.

One highlight of this year’s Daffodil Day is the chance to discover the  PIKE BOX – a weekly farm-to-customer program supporting over 30 Washington farmers. PIKE BOX is a community-supported agriculture (CSA) program that brings fresh, local produce directly to consumers. Currently, anyone can register for the Spring PIKE BOX, Summer 1 PIKE BOX and Summer 2 PIKE BOX. Visitors can learn more about the PIKE BOX and its impact on local farmers during Daffodil Day.

As an added incentive, Daffodil Day serves as the last opportunity to sign up for any PIKE BOX and receive the exclusive limited-edition reusable tote bag from the PIKE BOX program. Don’t miss this chance to get the season’s freshest produce, local dairy, and meat while supporting local farmers.
