March 8 to March 17: Kells Seattle St. Patrick’s Irish Festival 2024

Experience Celtic culture without taking a trip to Ireland with Kells Seattle St. Patrick’s Irish Festival 2024. Back for its 41st year, the celebration will feature nine days of craic fun, with live Irish music, dancing, traditional foods and more taking place daily. This 21-plus event captures the true spirit of St. Patty’s Day, taking place daily from 7 to 11:30 p.m.

March 15 to March 17: Kiss Me, I’m Irish: Seattle St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

Ready to paint the town green? Join Kiss Me, I’m Irish: Seattle St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl for a weekend-long celebration of all things Celtic. With access to some of Seattle’s hottest bars, including Jupiter Bar, Blarney Stone, Imperial Kitchen & Bar, Locust Cider, Provisions and more and drink specials galore, this epic bar crawl promises a non-stop night of fun. The event is 21-plus only, and will take place on Friday, March 15, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturday, March 16, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sunday, March 17, from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. 
Cost: Tickets range from $15 to $60, depending on the date and party size. 

March 16 and March 17: Irish Festival Seattle

Immerse yourself in Irish culture at the annual Irish Festival at the Armory Food & Event Hall in the Seattle Center. This exciting festival will feature live music performances, Irish dancing, a parade, raffle prizes, showings of Irish movies, educational booths (touching on Gaelic, genealogy and Irish tales), purveyors selling Celtic jewelry, treats, art and more. This festival celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Seattle will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Sunday, March 17.

March 16: Seattle Shamrock Stroll St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl

Unleash your inner leprechaun at Seattle Shamrock Stroll St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl, taking place from noon to midnight. The crawl will take lucky guests through some of the top bars in Seattle, with Irish brews, welcome shots and music to fuel the journey. In addition to craft sips, revelers will have access to food specials, a shot glass necklace, a drink koozie and a professional photographer to capture the magical evening. Guests are highly encouraged to dress up for the occasion (if they would like to avoid a pinch), and the event is for those 21-plus only.

March 17: St. Paddy’s Day Lunch Cruise

Set sail for a St. Patrick’s Day in Seattle like no other aboard a scenic lunch cruise on the waters of Lake Union with Waterways Cruises and Events. Indulge in a delicious Irish-inspired meal, sip on festive drinks and take in panoramic views of Seattle’s shoreline as you cruise along the serene waters. A few rounds of Irish-themed trivia will also take place, with prizes for winners. The cruise will board at 11 a.m. and return at 1:30 p.m.

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day at Rock Paper Scissors Madrona

Head to Rock Paper Scissors Madrona for a St. Patrick’s Day in Seattle celebration featuring live music, local art, Irish bites and green beer as the neighborhood spot commemorates Irish culture and traditions. The event will run from 4:30 to 8 p.m. and is open to all ages. $15 of each event ticket will feed people without housing in Seattle.

St. Pat’s Dash

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day Dash

Get your green gear ready and lace up those running shoes for the St. Pat’s Dash, taking place at the Seattle Center from 7 a.m. to noon. Join thousands of fellow revelers as they dash to the pot of gold (a pint of Guinness at the finish line), with three race options available, including a 5K Shamrock Reg, Kids Leprechaun Lap and a virtual run. Once the race concludes, runners can partake in an award ceremony, costume contest and be gifted with a commemorative race bib, timing chip and a T-shirt. 
Cost: $45 for 5K Shamrock Reg, $20 for Kids Leprechaun Lap and $40 to participate virtually.
