Seattle Rep presents Passengers, which will premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. at Bagley Wright Theater.
Directed, written and choreographed by Shana Carroll, Passengers is a cirque spectacular that you will not want to miss. Through contemporary dance, music and acrobatics, a breathtaking series of vignettes tells the unique stories of reunions and goodbyes from the strangers that surround you while onboard a train.
Passengers comes from contemporary physical theater troupe The 7 Fingers and is a jaw-dropping ride. The Guardian calls it “an illustration of grace, freedom, moments of wonder, and leaps of faith.”
The production of Passengers is approximately one hour and 40 minutes long, with no intermission. Passengers will run from opening night on Sept. 27 until Oct. 15. Tickets start at $23 and go up to $108, depending on the night and the seats that you choose.
Upcoming Seattle Rep performances include Islander, Oct. 20 to Nov. 19; Little Women, Nov. 10 to Dec. 17; and Quixote Nuevo, Jan. 19 to Feb. 11.
