“Through the Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland”

Lily Verlaine and Jasper McCann present “Through the Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland.” The performances will take place at Seattle’s renowned Triple Door Theater from Wednesday, May 17, to Sunday, May 21.

In this story, audiences follow Alice as she discovers what wonders lie beyond the velvet rope at Wonderland’s most exclusive nightclub, The Looking Glass, and tries to best the menacing Queen of Hearts to become the next Queen of Wonderland. Verlaine and McCann strive to bring new interpretations of classic themes to dance, theatre, and storytelling, and have put their own unique touch on the Carroll cannon. The longevity and popularity of their productions has been made possible by the constant addition of fresh new talent.
