Summer Programming at Pike Place Market

With an exciting lineup of events and activities celebrating local produce, talent and community spirit, Seattle’s Pike Place Market is brimming with summer fun.

June to October: Produce on Pike: Monthly Farmers Market Series

Produce on Pike is a brand-new monthly farmers market series, held at the north end of Pike Place Market, all summer long. The event will take place on the second Wednesday of each month from June to October, from 3 to 7 p.m. Shoppers can peruse fresh produce, special programming, kids’ activities and live music.

June to September: Pike Place Market Express Farmers Markets

Express Farmers Markets are back, taking place once a week at the Market. These mini markets feature local and seasonal vegetables, fruit, flowers, honey, jams and organic meats. Visitors can even enjoy the “Meet the Producer” interactions in a pair of convenient locations: South Lake Union on Thursdays through Sept. 26 and First Hill on Fridays through Sept. 27.

BUSKARAMA, the Market’s brand-new busker festival, will debut on June 15. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy a day filled with performances at all 15 Market busker spots, ending in a ticketed evening celebration at The Rabbit Box starting at 7:30 p.m. Ticket information will be available soon at www.pikeplacemarket.org.

Registration is open for the PIKE BOX CSA program, offering convenient access to the area’s best produce, protein, dairy, flowers and more. Pickups are available weekly at Pike Place Market, First Hill, South Lake Union and Renton. Register at www.pikeplacemarket.org.
