Mt. Baker Ski Area

With over 600 inches of snow each winter, Mt. Baker Ski Area receives the most snow out of all of the snow resorts in Deming. The ski area will open in November, and visitors who have yet to check out the destination will be pleased to know it offers everything you need for a day on the slopes: coffee shops, restaurants and yurts, steep slopes, terrain parks and over 1,000 acres to shred. Mt. Baker is not recommended for beginners or children; the slopes are steep and challenge the leg muscles and reflexes as they weave in and out of lined trees. But if you want to bring your kiddos or beginner friends, the bottom of the mountain can always be used to make snowmen with some hot cocoa from Heather Meadow Cafe.
