The event will take place on Saturday, May 28, and all proceeds will benefit 4 The Fallen, a volunteer-based organization that helps support veterans. The trek is on an even, calming surface and can even be completed remotely for those looking to participate from home. Tickets are $25 per person and, participants will receive a medal and various merch items for finishing.

Northwest Folklife Festival

The Northwest Folklife Festival is back for its 51st year. The family-friendly celebration is a five-day-long event taking place during Memorial Day weekend from Friday, May 27, to Monday, May 30. The event is the perfect way to welcome summer, featuring a massive art show, live music, dancing, food vendors and an all-around great time celebrating life and art.
