May 23: 27th Annual Memorial Day Parade at Historic Downtown Chelan

In collaboration with The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce and Veterans Foreign Wars Post 6853, the 27th Annual Memorial Day Parade will take place in Historic Downtown Chelan from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. as the city honors those who served our country. This exciting celebration will begin with speeches and a moment of silence before taking to the streets.

May 24 to May 27: Memorial Day Weekend Golf Special at White Horse Golf Club

Kingston

Tee off into summer with a round of golf with White Horse Golf Club’s Memorial Day Weekend Golf Special. The Kingston golf course will offer specials all weekend long, with rounds of golf before noon at $97, $87 from noon to 3 p.m. and $57 after 3 p.m. In addition to a day spent on the greens, these deals include a golf cart for convenient travel around the courses and a sleeve of golf balls.

Derived from the Greek values of Meraki–meaning to do something with passion, soul and love–the 53rd Annual Northwest Folklife Festival is the third chapter in a five-year-long focus on different cultural festivals hosted by Northwest Folklife, an independent art organization celebrating different cultures and traditions. With this season’s event showcasing aspects of Greek traditions, this fest will feature a wide variety of fun, including traditional music, dancing, food and fresh perspectives on the culture’s heritage and origin at the Seattle Center. A fashion show, Threads of the People, will also take place during the immersive event, showcasing traditional clothing.
