The Hot Rods and Hot Dogs event is the perfect way to spend quality time with your father at New Horizon Church. People are encouraged to bring their classic car, motorbike, hot rod or custom truck to this one-of-a-kind motor show. The group barbecue and car show will start at 12:45 p.m. sharp, and the vehicle check-in will begin at 11:45 a.m. Walk among rows of historic hot rods while munching on everything from burgers to hot dogs. 

Get your Father’s Day brunch on at the Liège Waffle Father’s Day Pop-Up event taking place in the heart of Seattle. The pop-up event will serve up delicious Belgian waffles and beer from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These waffles are especially delicious as they are made with pearl sugar mixed into a rich, yeast-like dough. Unsurprisingly, the brunch treat is made even better when paired with delicious local beer—available all morning at this unique Father’s Day event.

Father’s Day acts as a great time to get outdoors and enjoy quality moments with your family. Those based in Washington can participate in the Father’s Day Spectacular Virtual Run which begins at 8 a.m. sharp on the holiday. Registration for the 5K, 10K or 13.1 Full race starts at $32. Thanks to the virtual format, anyone can join in on the fun, no matter where they are based in the state.

The Father’s Day Camp Out Adventure will arguably provide one of the most special and memorable experiences with fathers and their children. The Camp Out event provides those who participate with the opportunity to enjoy good food and the gift of quality time together. The cookout will feature deluxe burgers with homemade buns, curly fries and malted milkshakes. This hands-on experience will give fathers and their kiddos the chance to make their own pickles in a mason jar, and bake up ooey gooey s’mores cookies. Admission for the single session is $65. 

For the past decade, the Washington Beer Commission has held the long-awaited Annual Washington Brewer’s Festival at King County’s Marymoor Park. This unique event offers fans the opportunity to taste thousands of beers from more than 100 local breweries. The Brewer’s Festival is a great excuse to enjoy community with dozens of other beer-lovers, and find your own favorite ale.

The Father’s Day Native Art Market will take place on Saturday, June 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will be hosted by the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center. The event will include Alder cooked salmon lunches, which include roasted red potatoes, salad, fry bread, corn on the cob and a decadent berry dessert. Attendees will have the chance to support Native American artists and vendors, all while tasting authentic Indigenous food. Admission is $25 per person.
