Just steps from the lake and Kirkland waterfront, RockCreek Seafood and Spirits is a new gem in Kirkland’s culinary scene. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance exudes elegance and warmth, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience, great for both special occasions and casual dining. Begin your meal with the heirloom cauliflower, a light and refreshing starter mixed with farro, pine nuts, Calabrian chili, celery, white balsamic and pecorino. It pairs well alongside any of the mouthwatering entrees or in addition to the shareable small plates, including the tender barbecued Spanish octopus. Packed with flavor, the octopus features fingerling potatoes, roasted tomatoes, olives, cannellini beans and a drizzle of olive oil.

For those looking to stay on the lighter side, an order of Japanese yellowtail hamachi crudo is a must, plated with bonito-sesame pickles and shiso leaf, finished off with a sweet onion vinaigrette. Sip and savor all the flavors with one of RockCreek’s signature cocktails, such as the French Nurse #2 poured with rose petal-infused vodka, Lillet, lychee, lime and agave. The revitalizing Sol Duc Spey is a gin-based cocktail shaken with Cardamaro, Campari, St-Germain, lime and mint.

Or the grilled whole Baja crimson snapper, topped with charred tomatillo salsa verde, cilantro and lime. Lastly is the roasted half Dungeness crab, served with basil-grilled bread. All are a superb course for those dining in a group or looking to elevate their meal.

End the evening with a classic espresso martini, made with Wheatley Vodka, espresso liqueur, cold brew, Drambuie, RockCreek’s signature Montenegro honey foam and cinnamon. The rich and decadent s’mores dessert is one for the books and includes Valrhona chocolate mousse, smoked meringue and graham tuile. For a more tangy option, the key lime pie is another showstopper served in a small jar with a graham cracker crust and topped with an in-house whipped cream.

RockCreek Seafood and Spirits Kirkland is now serving dinner Sunday to Thursday, from 4 to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, from 4 to 11 p.m. The restaurant welcomes guests to join for happy hour from 4 to 5:30 p.m. daily and will be offering brunch every Saturday and Sunday beginning late Spring 2024.
