Pike Taproom to Open in Ballard

Pike Brewing, Seattle’s longest-running craft brewery in Washington State, has announced its plans to open a taproom in the city’s bustling Ballard neighborhood this December. The new spot, Pike Taproom, will offer Pike’s staple brews and fan-favorite pretzels.

Taking over the former Bramling Cross space in Ballard, Seattle, Pike Taproom is set to open in late November or early December. The 2,500-sq.-ft. spot will feature a chic yet rustic design, with exposed brick walls, modern lighting fixtures, black metals and green leather accents. A variety of flatscreens can be found on the walls for catching your favorite games, in addition to a gaming area featuring shuffleboard and dartboards.

The taproom will feature a menu curated by local consulting chef Ethan Stowell, offering burgers, wings, salads and Pike’s famous pretzels. In addition to the fare is a massive beer program, including Pike Brewing seasonal brews, limited-production beers, rotating taps devoted to Ballard Brewery and taps for local ciders. In addition to the craft sips is a full bar offering handcraft cocktails and wines.

“It’s been a big year of growth for Pike Brewing,” says Drew Gillespie, president of Pike Brewing. “Opening a taproom in Ballard is an exciting way for us to introduce our new and improved beers, new team and fresh look to a whole new audience.”

Pike Taproom will open at 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at 12 p.m. on weekends. Happy hour will be offered from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
