Woodinville’s newest hotspot, McQueen Champagne Bar, is located inside the newly established Schoolhouse Wine District. This 21-plus tasting room is pouring up a variety of bubbles from all over the globe. McQueen Champagne Bar is operated by local winemaker/owner Brandee Slosar, alongside sommelier Blair Anderson, a dynamic duo bringing their knowledge and love for Champagne to the Eastside.
The concept of McQueen Champagne Bar is to relax, sip and savor–all while soaking in the stunning ambiance. Take a seat at the beautifully tiled bar top, or slip away to the cozy fireplace room for an intimate small group or date night. Upon walking in, you will see a large floral mural on the back wall, highlighting the rich blue and green accents throughout the bar, giving McQueen an A-plus on overall aesthetic.
McQueen Champagne Bar first opened its doors in the spring of 2022 as the first and only bar of its kind in Woodinville, offering flights, sparkling wines by the glass (or bottle!) and light bites. With the flights rotating weekly, each visit is a new experience allowing you to explore varying styles and flavors. All tasting flights provide a range of pricing within different categories. Sip through a trio of samples of either 100 percent Champagne, rosé or a sample of three different bubbly favorites. Each flight is carefully curated by Slosar and Anderson.
Not in the mood for bubbly? McQueen also offers an assortment of wine, beer and non-alcoholic cocktails, like Elixir No. 7 made with elderflower and lavender. Pair your beverages with smoked salmon and caper rillette served with a warm baguette or a charcuterie and cheese plate, which comes with an assortment of meats, cheese, nuts, dried fruit and crackers.
If you are looking for a new wine club, it’s time to join the “Glitterati,” offering three different levels; the Noble, Royal and Majesty clubs range from a $150 to $350 quarterly fee. All “Gliteratti” members–no matter the level–get to enjoy exclusive perks, like special discounts and events.
McQueen Champagne Bar is now open Wednesday through Thursday, 1 to 7 p.m.; Friday, 1 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, noon to to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 7 p.m.
