Not surprisingly, coffee was deemed as the most in-demand food and drink trend in Washington this year. But what other sips and snacks made the top five list?
Research from food and beverage transportation provider, Zipline Logistics, revealed the most in-demand food and drink in each state for 2020. The food trend data was calculated reporting Google search for each trend volumes per state.
The findings revealed that the top five food trends for Washington are:
1. Coffee (94%)
2. Sushi (88%)
3. Beer (87%)
4. Fruit (86%)
5. Soda (82%)
On the other end of the spectrum, demand was low for the Atkins diet and protein shakes in Washington.
