Favorite ways to spend your free time in WA: Spending time with family, golfing, eating and drinking great food and wine. Watching beautiful sunsets.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Being myself and not what I think people expect of me and trusting my gut instincts.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: Assuming the role of winemaker for an established brand.  

Someone who inspires you and why: Both of our daughters, as well as my teammates at Abeja. They pay attention to the details and are fully engaged in what they do.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Surround yourself with individuals who encourage you and follow your passion.

Favorite quote: “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I have served on the Altera Educational Board for the last four years. The organization primarily serves rural students who grow up in bilingual households. The goal these kids discover their full potential.  

What makes someone fabulous: Treating others with respect and a sense of humor (my husband is a great example).
