Favorite ways to spend family time in WA: Getting together, having fun and reconnecting at family dinners and get-togethers. Outdoor barbecues in our garden.
Your most rewarding fatherhood moment: With my newborn son in my arms, walking down the halls of the hospital for the first time. And then I got to do it again with my daughter years later. Priceless.
Biggest challenge as a dad: Balance and patience. Between home and work. Between raising your kids well, and then letting them go to learn, sometimes fail and ultimately succeed.
A mother who inspires you and why: My wife, Julie. She is a great mom in every way. Always there for our kids and for other “adopted” kids of friends and neighbors.
Best piece of advice for a new dad: Enjoy each phase of life. Each has its precious moments. And then gone all too quickly.
Your biggest hope for your children: To be happy, healthy and enjoy life’s opportunities.
