Dad to: Adalina, 12; Aerin, 23; and Ariana, 26

Hometown: Bremerton, WA

Favorite ways to spend family time in WA: We love the outdoors and hiking. We spend a lot of time camping and exploring the state. We have a RV we take everywhere.

Your most rewarding fatherhood moment: You can’t beat the experience of watching your child be born–the excitement, the anticipation, it’s unforgettable! Also, watching them grow up, from each stage of infant, to toddler, to teenager. It’s a bittersweet and sad, but an amazing experience. It’s sad because you don’t want them to grow and amazing because they have.

Biggest challenge as a dad: I have three girls! They challenge me daily. It’s hard to keep up on all the products they use!? I know the ULTA catalog better than Home Depot.

A mother who inspires you and why: My mother was very inspiring in my life. She was very hard-working, loving and definably put her children’s needs before her own.

Best piece of advice for a new dad: Take care of Mom. She worked hard to get that baby into this world.

Your biggest hope for your children: Beside hoping they succeed at everything they do, all I really want is for them to be truly happy.

How are you celebrating Father’s Day? I’ll be with my girls. We will enjoy barbecue, and I will relax!
