Hometown: Seattle, WA

First job: Washing dishes at Sweetwater.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in WA: Mountain biking at St. Edwards Park, riding motorcycles in the North Cascades, grilling on the beach at Birch Bay. 

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Working alongside cooks on their way to becoming great leaders and chefs is the most important and amazing part of being in my role.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: Making the segue from school into the realm of fine dining was extremely tough. Luckily, I had great mentors encouraging me not to give up. 

Someone who inspires you and why: My parents. They taught me tenacity.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Learn to code or something. 

Favorite quote: “If it is to be, it is up to me to do it.”

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I’ve said no, thank you, to appear on some reality cooking shows. 

What makes someone fabulous: Authenticity.
