Seattle’s favorite 5th Avenue Theatre will be celebrating American composer Stephen Sondheim with their modern rendition production called Into the Woods on March 1–5.
Based on the beloved book by James Lapine and featuring the music and lyrics of Stephen Sondheim, Into the Woods is a must-see Tony Award-winning Broadway hit and feature film sensation. Even after more than three decades, theatergoers are still captivated by Into the Woods. This is the first of a rare and exceptional two-show celebration and investigation of Stephen Sondheim’s theatrical brilliance.
Into the Woods features a captivating yet complicated happily ever after. Invading one another’s stories and being caught in a web of unanticipated repercussions, Little Red, a Witch, Cinderella, the Baker, and his wife learn that not all endings are happy.
