French Fest

Prepare for pastries and sparkling wine. The Armory Food & Event Hall will host Seattle’s French Fest: A Celebration of French-Speaking Cultures on Sunday, Mar. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of the Seattle Center Festál series.
Free cultural festivals are held as part of the year-round Seattle Center Festál series, which has recently celebrated 25 years of stories and traditions. This year, French Fest emphasizes French cuisine by inviting bakeries, restaurants and chocolate manufacturers with a classic French flair.
French Fest aims to educate French and American audiences about the significance of the French language in the world by displaying artists and vendors from French-speaking cultures. Through music, dancing, cooking demonstrations, movie screenings, wine tastings, baguette tasting competitions and other activities, French Fest promotes the French concept of “joie de vivre.”
